As a Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the security staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
Working Nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (42 hours per week)
This challenging and rewarding role requires a professional with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to delivering exceptional security services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to enhance safety and security.
- Conduct regular training sessions for security personnel on safety protocols, emergency response, and customer service.
- Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Perform regular inspections of the premises to identify and address potential security risks.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and other disturbances, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to security activities and incidents.
- Conduct welfare checks to ensure the well-being of personnel on site.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, clients, and visitors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
- Current, valid SIA license.
- Full UK driving license (you will be using one of our patrol cars for site patrols).
- Access to your own vehicle or able to commute to the site within a maximum distance of 10 miles.
- Minimum of 3 years of security experience.
- Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management and ability to plan workload effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Friendly and helpful in your approach.
