Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our established and sought-after Band 5 Occupational Therapy rotation. This unique opportunity will allow you to develop your skills and experience across a wide range of physical and mental health settings.

Main Duties

As a rotational Occupational Therapist, you will work in a mix of clinical areas across physical health, mental health, and various specialist services. The rotation currently includes:

  • Adult Mental Health (inpatient)
  • Adult Learning Disability (community)
  • Forensic Mental Health (inpatient)
  • Stroke Rehabilitation (inpatient)
  • Older Adult Mental Health (inpatient)
  • Older Adult Mental Health (community)
  • Community Therapy Service (community)
  • Community Hospital rehabilitation (inpatient)

Each rotation is for a period of 8 months, and you will work within a team to assess, plan, treat, and review patients with a range of physical and mental health conditions.

Person Specification

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who:

  • Has experience of working in a range of placements
  • Can demonstrate MDT working

Essential skills include:

  • Good command of written English
  • Demonstrates diverse skillset as required for rotation

Essential qualifications include:

  • HCPC registered or working towards
