Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Admin Apprentice in a thriving school environment. As an Admin Apprentice, you will provide professional administrative support to the school team, ensuring the smooth delivery of educational services to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the school team, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
  • Take ownership of your apprenticeship training, completing the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Develop your knowledge, skills, and behaviours for the apprenticeship, dedicating 6 hours per week to training and development.
  • Attend regular reviews with your employer and apprenticeship trainer to review your progress on the Level 3 programme.
  • Complete a Level 2 functional skills programme if required, with fees covered by the levy and the ESFA.
Training and Development

Your trainer will meet with you in the workplace or online every 2-4 weeks, providing ongoing support and guidance. You will have dedicated time away from your job to work on the apprenticeship and collate evidence for your e-portfolio.

This is a fixed-term position, and the duration of the apprenticeship will be determined by the job role and current skills. The typical duration of the apprenticeship is 21 months, but can be longer or shorter depending on existing knowledge, skills, and experience.
