About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Health Practitioner to join our Employee Health and Wellbeing (EHW) service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist advice and support to employees and managers, as well as external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and line management to junior EHW Fitness For Work Team members across all MFT sites.
  • Receive, interpret, and manage complex health information from employees, managers, and/or HR, providing highly specialised advice regarding work health assessments and fitness for work assessments.
  • Communicate complex information to non-clinical employees in a clear and understandable way.
  • Support the development and management of key Trust initiatives relating to fitness for work, specifically in relation to Occupational Health, supporting delivery of MFT's Wellbeing Strategy.
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner offering specialist advice to both managers and staff, working in line with broad occupational policies.
