Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Manchester, contributing to the development of a modern and responsive mental health service. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will work as part of an OT-specific team within the community mental health teams across the city.

Main Duties

You will operate a specialist Occupational Therapy only caseload within the CMHT, providing evidence-based occupational and employment assessments and producing reports to a high standard. You will work alongside a range of agencies and develop your skills supporting junior OT staff and students.

Person Specification
  • Demonstrable experience of working as a qualified Occupational Therapist
  • Providing Occupational Therapy in a mental health setting
  • Using a variety of Occupational vocational assessments
  • Identifying barriers to goal achievement
  • Planning and carrying out evidence-based interventions
