Role Overview:

As the Food and Beverage Operations Leader, you will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and innovation, all while identifying and seizing sales opportunities. Your dedication to team development will be paramount, as you strive to create outstanding experiences for our guests, ensuring that the highest standards of customer service are consistently met.

You will be approachable and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile for our guests, delivering consistently excellent service while leading by example.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

Coordinating and guiding staff to ensure outstanding customer service within the dining and bar areas. Overseeing daily operations of the dining and bar services, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, and catering for larger events. Maximizing sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Responding to company audits to ensure ongoing improvements. Managing the food and beverage budget in relation to occupancy, departmental expenses, and staff scheduling. Ensuring adherence to administration, cash control, stock management, and security protocols by yourself and team members. Recruiting and training staff. Planning schedules and holidays based on business demands and function requirements to maintain high service standards during peak times while optimizing labor costs during slower periods. Fostering a team environment that encourages employee morale and ensures a high level of commitment, engagement, and pride in the department and hotel. Implementing regular checks to ensure all team members are equipped to deliver exceptional food and beverage service.

Starting the Journey

On your first day, you will embark on a structured 12-week training program designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel as a Food and Beverage Operations Leader. We seek a candidate who:

Has management experience in the food service industry. Possesses in-depth knowledge of dining and bar operations, including stock management, cellar operations, and customer service. Can lead and inspire a team of Supervisors and Assistants in service delivery. Has prior experience in recruitment, coaching, training, and performance management. Holds a strong understanding of Licensing Law, Health & Safety, and Allergen Legislation, ideally being a Personal License holder or suitably qualified.
