Your Role:

  • Provide expert guidance and counsel to senior management on complex staffing matters, addressing both individual and group concerns.
  • Offer in-depth support and advice to Headteachers/Leaders regarding the implementation of school policies, pay structures, conditions of service, and best practices for handling employment issues.
  • Manage a diverse caseload encompassing various human resources challenges, including disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, absences, and grievances.
  • Empower line managers with strategies to proactively address potential employee relations issues at an informal stage, minimizing formal action and promoting effective people management practices.
  • Analyze trends in handled ER cases to identify areas for policy enhancement or process optimization.
  • Mentor and upskill line managers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage a range of employee relations matters and change initiatives.

Your Qualifications:

  • A recognized CIPD qualification or equivalent expertise in human resources management.
  • Proven experience working within an educational institution or public sector environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advising on and supporting organizational restructuring, redundancies, TUPE regulations, and redeployment processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ER procedures and processes, including employment tribunal proceedings.
