Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Residential Services team in Nelson. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care and support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aiding with personal care and daily living activities
  • Assisting with community outings and integration
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements

  • Desire to support individuals with disabilities to learn new skills and achieve outcomes
  • Flexibility to work rostered overnight shifts and weekend shifts
  • Full driver's license and confidence to safely transport passengers
