As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for exploiting your quality expertise to increase our quality levels and mindset across our complete value chain from Design, Purchasing/Supply Chain through to manufacture and production.
- Develop and maintain quality strategies and policies for the business, working closely with the senior management team.
- Create and maintain the Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support New Product introduction from a quality perspective, working closely with both engineering and design teams.
- Lead Supplier Quality Assurance activities in conjunction with purchasing, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
- Utilize your knowledge of the latest regulatory standards to drive quality improvements across the organization.
To succeed in this key quality role, you will likely be educated to HND/degree level in an engineering or related discipline, with an in-depth background and knowledge of quality standards and systems gained within an electro-mechanical or closely related assembly production/manufacturing environment.
We are looking for experience in developing and improving product quality as essential, and a working knowledge of regulatory standards. Quality Management Systems experience, including ISO9001/AS9100 or similar, is required. Quality Systems experience and first-class leadership, communication, and influencing skills are a prerequisite for this role.
