**Job Summary**

Celebrity Cruises is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Bar Manager to oversee the entire shipboard beverage operation. As a key member of our Beverage Team, you will be responsible for directing the bar function and associated activities throughout the vessel.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist the Beverage Manager in overseeing the entire shipboard beverage operation.
  • Direct the bar function and associated activities throughout the vessel.
  • Manage and supervise a team of bartenders and bar staff to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality beverage offerings.
  • Develop and implement beverage menus, promotions, and events to drive revenue and enhance the guest experience.
  • Conduct inventory management and control to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Beverage Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve beverage sales and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including USPH rules.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the highest quality beverage products.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.

**Requirements**

  • At least 5 years of managerial experience in Beverage Management on a cruise ship.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Supervisory experience with at least 30 employees.
  • Knowledge of beverage brands and quality of liquors, wine, and beers.
  • Ability to manage international staff and provide customer service.
  • Proficiency in analyzing documents and calculating figures.
  • Familiarity with USPH rules.
  • Understanding of business and organizational planning, human resources, and guest satisfaction techniques.
  • Working knowledge of computer software and internet navigation.

**Language Requirements**

  • Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with guests.
  • Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, etc.
