Procurement Opportunity for Indirect Services

An exciting chance to work with a growing UK manufacturing business as a Procurement Specialist, focusing on Indirect spend categories. You will have a proven track record of managing Indirect Category spend, including Legal, Marketing, IT, and HR, and collaborate with key stakeholders to effectively manage cost and quality of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a range of indirect procurement spend and develop category management strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Utilize strong organizational and problem-solving skills to drive results
  • Negotiate effectively to secure best value for the business
  • Work proficiently with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Possess a good working knowledge of procurement principles and practices
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in indirect categories
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Relevant qualifications, such as CIPS, are desirable
