A leading retail company in the fashion sector is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join their management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maximising business profitability of your store by optimising sales opportunities while working within planned costs.
Key Responsibilities:- Store Performance Monitoring: You will monitor store performance daily, weekly, and monthly, providing reports and updates to area managers to improve. Reviewing performance and making suggestions to increase sales.
- KPIs and Sales Enhancement: Utilising Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance store performance and sales.
- Customer Awareness: Demonstrating good customer awareness and interaction at all times, setting the standard for your store.
- Staff Management: Engaging in recruiting staff as authorised by Area Manager, ensuring recruitment remains within budget and to meet the commercial requirements of the store.
- Store Operations: Ensuring optimum stock levels are maintained, with deliveries being dealt with promptly, regular stock replenishment, and commercial product handling.
- Health and Safety: Fulfilling obligations to adhere to the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and company policy and procedures laid down in the Store Health & Safety Manual to ensure a safe working/shopping environment.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience as a retail supervisor/manager, preferably within fashion but would also consider other disciplines such as hospitality, business, etc.
- Management Skills: Experience with managing budgets, increasing sales, and dealing with profitability.
- Leadership: Ensuring KPIs are hit and sales targets are exceeded.
- Flexibility: Flexible to work weekends and longer shifts when required.
- Contract: Happy to be contracted 39 hours per week, with shift flexibility.
- Staff Development: Previous experience with recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing staff.
