A leading retail company in the fashion sector is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join their management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maximising business profitability of your store by optimising sales opportunities while working within planned costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Store Performance Monitoring: You will monitor store performance daily, weekly, and monthly, providing reports and updates to area managers to improve. Reviewing performance and making suggestions to increase sales.
  2. KPIs and Sales Enhancement: Utilising Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance store performance and sales.
  3. Customer Awareness: Demonstrating good customer awareness and interaction at all times, setting the standard for your store.
  4. Staff Management: Engaging in recruiting staff as authorised by Area Manager, ensuring recruitment remains within budget and to meet the commercial requirements of the store.
  5. Store Operations: Ensuring optimum stock levels are maintained, with deliveries being dealt with promptly, regular stock replenishment, and commercial product handling.
  6. Health and Safety: Fulfilling obligations to adhere to the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and company policy and procedures laid down in the Store Health & Safety Manual to ensure a safe working/shopping environment.
Requirements:
  1. Previous Experience: Previous experience as a retail supervisor/manager, preferably within fashion but would also consider other disciplines such as hospitality, business, etc.
  2. Management Skills: Experience with managing budgets, increasing sales, and dealing with profitability.
  3. Leadership: Ensuring KPIs are hit and sales targets are exceeded.
  4. Flexibility: Flexible to work weekends and longer shifts when required.
  5. Contract: Happy to be contracted 39 hours per week, with shift flexibility.
  6. Staff Development: Previous experience with recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing staff.
