Assistant Store Manager Opportunity

About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager at Claire's, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining store operations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Sales and Profit: Achieving retail store targets and driving commercial success
  2. Customer Service: Providing the finest level of customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
  3. Store Operations: Maintaining a well-organized and efficient store environment
  4. Team Leadership: Assisting the Store Manager in training and coaching the store team to enhance their skills and career development

About You

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required
  2. Minimum one year retail management experience
  3. Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
  4. Basic computer skills
  5. Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
  6. Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem solve
  7. Ability to stand during scheduled shifts
  8. Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  9. Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers
  10. Ability to operate POS system
