About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Children's Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) in Somerset. As a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership to other psychologists and the wider multi-disciplinary team, providing high-quality psychologically informed support to young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions for clients with complex eating disorders and eating-related difficulties.
  • Develop and deliver CEDS teaching programs and provide expertise to facilitate the effective and appropriate provision of psychological care by all members of the treatment team.
  • Liaise with professionals and contribute to multi-disciplinary case discussions and planning meetings.
  • Be responsible for own work and interventions with highly complex presentations as an autonomous practitioner.

Requirements

  • Doctoral Clinical Psychology qualification or equivalent as accredited by the British Psychology Society (BPS).
  • Eligible for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status.
  • Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of working with clients with complex presentations within CAMHS or similar services.
  • Experience of teaching, training, and/or professional and clinical supervision.
