Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registration Officer to join our team at the Accrington Registration Office. This is a permanent position with 520 annualised hours, which will be utilized as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties related to the registration of Births, Deaths, and Stillbirths.
  • Authenticate routine notices of marriage and civil partnerships.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality Registration Service.
  • Collaborate effectively as a member of the Registration team.

Service Overview:

The Registration Service is responsible for creating accurate and timely records of all Births, Stillbirths, Deaths, Marriages, and Civil Partnerships. We also facilitate couples in giving notice of their intention to marry or form a Civil Partnership.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for an individual who is customer-oriented, confident in using digital tools, and committed to effective team collaboration. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work accurately while adhering to established procedures and working independently.
