Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our Salford Older Adult Community Mental Health Team. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the assessment, formulation, and intervention for older adults with complex mental health and/or organic presentations.
Main Responsibilities:- Undertake psychological assessments and interventions under the supervision of qualified clinical psychologists.
- Assist in the preparation of psychoeducational materials and contribute to the development of standardised psychological intervention packages.
- Work independently on a day-to-day basis to meet goals and tasks set by the supervising clinical psychologist.
- Contribute to risk assessment, formulations of risk management plans, and assist qualified therapy staff in the delivery of specialist psychological interventions.
- Undergraduate Psychology Degree.
- Work experience in a relevant clinical setting, preferably with older adults.
- Clinical experience with older people and enthusiasm for the role.
