Job Summary:
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team at a secondary school in Wandsworth. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the school's IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing classroom support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and develop the school's IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Admin Console
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
* Provide classroom support, ensuring ICT equipment is available and operational for lessons and events
* Maintain hardware and software inventory and assist with equipment installations and repairs
* Monitor backup systems and disaster recovery procedures
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft client and server systems, networking, virtualisation (preferably VMware), and other relevant technologies
* Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, and content filtering systems
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
* Knowledge of Apple software, Google Admin Console, and BYOD management is desirable
