The primary objective of this position is to formulate and execute Procurement strategies across a diverse range of categories, including Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), Capital Equipment, and Facilities Management Services, which are essential for our manufacturing operations.

The key goals include realizing substantial Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) advantages for the organization, developing and executing comprehensive risk management strategies, and fostering strategic partnerships with our critical suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Oversee all strategic and operational Procurement activities related to essential categories such as API, Capital Equipment, and Construction & Facilities Management services.

Establish and maintain effective Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) practices across all key suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring that contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met or surpassed while identifying and implementing TCO benefits across the product range.

Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy for all Direct Materials supplied to our manufacturing facility to guarantee uninterrupted supply.

Extensive expertise and experience in managing Direct Procurement categories, as well as Capital and Facilities Management services, at both strategic and operational levels.

Experience in the pharmaceuticals and life sciences sector is essential.
An MBA, Lean/Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and project management skills are advantageous.
Proficient in managing expenditure categories through established Category Management processes.
Capable of recognizing risks and designing/implementing effective risk management strategies.
