Job Title: Primary Education Specialist

Job Description:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Education Specialist to work across Primary schools in and around Mountain Ash. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for delivering high-quality education to students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a classroom of learners and develop engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Welcome students at the start of the day and create a positive learning environment
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and plan work where required
  • Work with students in small groups and one-on-one to support their learning and development
  • Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies
  • Assist students at break time with their lunch and engage them in both classroom and out-of-classroom activities
  • Work in accordance with the school's behavior management policies

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) - Vetro Recruitment can assist with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
