Job Summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Primary Education Specialist to work across Primary schools in and around Mountain Ash. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 learners and be able to work in a variety of educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a classroom of learners - Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
  • Welcome learners at the start of the day
  • Preparing the classroom for lessons and plan work where required
  • Working with learners in small groups and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs on occasions
  • Deliver lessons in line with national curriculum
  • Assist learners at break time with their lunch where required
  • Engage learners with both classroom and out of classroom activities
  • Work in accordance to the school's behaviour management policies
Requirements
  • At least 1 year teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
