Procurement Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the creation, execution, and management of contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Ensure sales contract quality, particularly in terms of adherence to internal processes, policies, and requirements.
  3. Liaise with regional and HQ colleagues to manage escalation and decision-making processes, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  4. Provide risk analysis and generate reports to inform decision-making, working closely with legal, sales, and technical teams to identify and mitigate commercial, legal, and delivery risks.
  5. Support sales and product teams in designing contract and commercial models for sales projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  6. Respond to commercial conditions of tenders (Rfx) and prepare relevant commercial and contract documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  7. Draft sales-related contracts, taking into account commercial and legal considerations.
  8. Lead sales-related contract negotiations and manage changes in existing contracts, ensuring effective communication and negotiation skills.
  9. Manage risks associated with contract fulfillment and execution, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working in the ICT or renewable energy industry is desirable but not mandatory.
  2. Experience in contract negotiation, bidding, and commercial activities for more than 3 years is preferred.
  3. Experience with procurement processes and vendor management is desired.
  4. Strong knowledge of contract law and financial principles is essential.
  5. Ability to draft clear, concise, and legally sound contracts, and review and amend them effectively.
  6. Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contracts.
  7. Strong contract negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to present to customers and achieve favorable terms while maintaining positive relationships.
  8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Bachelor's degree or higher in commerce or law is desired.
  10. Excellent English and Chinese language skills, both written and spoken.
