Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for providing support to our UK Head of Procurement and ensuring the effective management of direct procurement spend for VVUK based brands.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to the UK Head of Procurement in the management of direct procurement spend for VVUK based brands.
- Lead cross-functional and site sourcing initiatives to ensure key stakeholder requirements are met.
- Project manage multi-site, multi-discipline cost initiatives to completion, tracking and reporting progress monthly.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms and conditions to ensure best value for the business.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with business objectives.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel regularly between Southern UK sites.
- Competitive salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
