Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lease Advisory Professional to join our Professional Department in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on lease advisory work, including reading and summarizing leases, inspecting and measuring properties, and negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on lease advisory work, including reading and summarizing leases, inspecting and measuring properties, and negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals.
- Collate evidence and compile pre-negotiation reports for advisory work.
- Negotiate rent reviews, lease renewals, surrenders, and re-gears on behalf of landlords and tenants.
- Prepare reports for 3rd party referrals and prepare heads of terms for lease renewals.
- Assist senior colleagues as necessary and develop and maintain a strong base of internal and external contacts.
Requirements:
- Experience of working within a lease advisory department.
- MRICS qualification preferable.
- Good understanding of landlord and tenant legislation.
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of tasks/instructions.
- Results-driven and highly proactive.
- Good degree of analytical skills ability.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Full, clean driving licence essential.
