Job Title: Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Aspiring Educational Psychologists to join our team at an 'Outstanding' graded primary school in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and are looking to gain hands-on experience ahead of further studies or Educational Psychologist posts.

About the Role:

  • Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis, including Autism (ASD), PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), Speech and Language (SP&L), and Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Liaise with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding progress of children
  • Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children
  • Deliver specialist interventions
  • Liaise with the school's therapists

Requirements:

  • Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduates
  • Childcare-related experience, particularly with a SEN focus - Ideal
  • Must be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic, and adaptable
  • Hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
  • Experience of supporting children (4-18) with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L - Ideal
