Corporate Golf Sales Executive

About the Role:
The Belfry Hotel & Resort is seeking a skilled Corporate Golf Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling, managing, and upselling our golf facilities to maximize revenue opportunities and grow green fee and resort revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all event details prior to the event taking place.
- Proactive calling of lapsed business, new sales leads, and monthly challenge targets.
- Assist with monthly sales reports to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure SOP procedures are maintained to ensure cancellation charges are retrieved.
- Ensure all group business is contracted and in line with company SOP.
- Assist with the daily business review to include events entered, status change, cancellation, and turn-down.
- Ensure incoming enquiries are priced according to availability and demand of the golf course and overall hotel demand.
- Assist with the development of golf offerings and rates for residential golf business.
- Assist with conducting regular competitor analysis within the golf sector.
- Conduct client show rounds and maximize revenue.
- Handle all telephone enquiries in accordance with the 59Club Test call crib sheet and SOP.
- Assist in managing and developing the golf database.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of golf and be able to play at a good level, allowing them to advise clients during sales interactions.
You will be:
- Methodical, accurate, and able to work on your own initiative with outstanding attention to detail.
- Excellent in both verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate with experience of hotel PMS systems, such as Delphi and Opera.
- Sales-focused and enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills.
- Flexible and capable of working well within a team.
