Cell Leader - Laser Cutter/Press Brake
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cell Leader to join our team in Daventry. As a Cell Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring a small team of press brake operators, as well as nesting and firming up orders for the Laser cutting Machine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team on the Laser cutter/Press brake Machines.
- Monitor productivity and quality within the team to ensure targets are met and exceeded to meet OTIF orders.
- Evaluate and support process/fixture changes to achieve target times.
- Expedite kit parts to achieve shop schedule requirements.
- Programming, Setting and Operating of Laser Cutter / Brake Presses and all associated processes.
- Forward Planning for Holidays, Adapt to change to customers build plans, Training of operatives.
- Problem solving, good knowledge of measuring devices.
Requirements:
- Possess relevant experience of working in a similar manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of reading engineering drawings.
- Man management skills, with coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Proven experience in either metalwork or fabrication welding.
- Ability to attend work regularly and punctually.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Methodical and precise.
