We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Graduate Mental Health Professional to join our team as an Intervention and Pastoral Assistant at Academics. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and guidance to vulnerable young people.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group support to students with mental health needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to promote positive behavior and well-being
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pastoral care programs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
- Knowledge of mental health principles and practices
