About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Lifeguard to join our team at Kings Camps. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of swim sessions for children aged 5-17 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise swim sessions with a maximum of 16 children in the pool
  • Ensure the welfare of children is paramount at all times
  • Oversee safe use of equipment and promptly react to any incidents
  • Follow the reporting procedure in case of any incidents
  • Work alongside a swim teacher to deliver engaging and safe swim sessions

Requirements:

  • A current Lifeguard qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), or National Rescue Award to Swimming Teachers and Coach (NRASTC)
  • At least 6 months' Lifeguard experience
  • Able to conduct a depth test at the venue
  • A passion for developing children's water confidence
  • Vibrant, resilient, team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
