About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Lifeguard to join our team at Kings Camps in Chester, Cheshire. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of swim sessions for children aged 5-17 years, working alongside a qualified swimming teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe delivery of swim sessions, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Supervise and monitor children during swim sessions, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Collaborate with the swimming teacher to develop and deliver engaging and effective swim programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to parents and children, responding to their needs and concerns.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Lifeguard qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award to Swimming Teachers and Coach (NRASTC).
  • At least 6 months' Lifeguard experience.
  • Able to conduct a depth test at the venue.
  • A passion for developing children's water confidence.
  • Vibrant, resilient, team player.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
