About the Role

Lanpro is a forward-thinking consultancy providing exceptional planning, design, and environmental services across the UK. We're seeking a driven and commercially focused Associate Director to support our growth and deliver excellence in planning projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take a leadership role on planning projects, coordinating and overseeing projects to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, promoting Lanpro's client-centric agenda.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, identify new opportunities, and enhance client relationships.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and success.
  • Contribute to the development of the Planning Division, providing strategic input and expertise to shape the team's core competencies and objectives.
Requirements
  • Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) with a degree or Masters in a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in the planning industry, ideally with some experience in the private sector and direct management of staff or leading a team.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to present at senior levels and across a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial knowledge, project management skills, and ability to review and provide constructive feedback on colleagues' work.
