We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to enhance our operations within the Kier Group.

Role Overview : This position is based in the north midlands, focusing on managing significant projects within the water sector.

Employment Type : Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time arrangements may be considered upon request.

Key Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Project Manager , you will be integral to the CSO programme team, addressing the critical upgrades necessary for our water systems. Your management will encompass projects valued between £5-£15m, with a team of dedicated project managers reporting directly to you, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for all stakeholders.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Championing Health & Safety protocols on-site and during client interactions, fostering a culture of safety that meets Kier's and client expectations.
  • Supervising site delivery teams and relevant supply chain elements to ensure projects are completed on time, safely, and within budget.
  • Mentoring site team members to enhance performance and minimize conflicts, while promoting a positive team culture.
  • Ensuring all initiatives are executed with minimal disruption by thoroughly understanding project requirements and design solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with the Framework Manager and program planners to effectively manage framework performance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Manager position will possess:

  • A degree or HND in a relevant field, with substantial experience in a main contractor civil engineering environment.
  • EUSR Water Hygiene certification, CSCS card, and SSSTS qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity within the Water Industry.
  • A valid Full Driving Licence.
