The role
We are seeking a detail-oriented financial professional with a passion for accuracy and organization to join our team at Pertemps Leicester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasting.
- Work closely with management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
