Nurse Practitioner

This position, as part of a multidisciplinary team, conducts comprehensive assessments, develops and implements personalized care plans, and provides high-quality nursing care to clients with complex needs. The Community LPN administers medications in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
The scope of practice for this role varies depending on the client population and the predictability of outcomes. The LPN delivers nursing care within the standards outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives and adheres to employer policies and procedures.
This is a Casual Opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary, with shifts scheduled at short notice. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions, and may have opportunities to transition to regular employment.
Shifts will be scheduled across days and nights, rotating between 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

Tamarack Cottage is a 7-bed tertiary care facility providing psychosocial rehabilitation services to clients requiring longer-term care. The facility offers specialized long-term care and rehabilitative services, with a focus on patient-centered care and support.
