As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to emergency patients, utilizing evidence-based practice and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in hospital committees and teams to advance clinical competence and improve patient care.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
About this Location:
The East Kootenay Regional Hospital is a 16-bed Emergency Department that serves a diverse patient population, including trauma, pediatrics, and psychiatric cases. Our team works closely with the High Acuity Response Team and outlying facilities to provide comprehensive care. With a helicopter pad on site and frequent transfers with STARS (Alberta Flight), our team is equipped to handle complex cases.
