Job Description:

The Specialist Resilience Housing Coordinator plays a crucial role in combating housing instability and promoting sustainable living solutions within our community.

This position requires a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to enhancing the resilience of individuals and families through effective housing coordination and support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive housing programs to address community needs.
  • Coordinate with local government agencies and non-profit organizations to enhance housing services and support.
  • Assess community needs and provide tailored solutions to address housing instability.
  • Conduct outreach to engage individuals and families in need of housing assistance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of housing initiatives and programs.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on housing rights and resources.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on housing issues for stakeholders and the community.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in housing services or community development.
  • Strong knowledge of housing policies and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Working Hours Schedule: 09:00 - 17:30

Pay Rate: £20.47 per hour
