About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Resilience Housing Coordinator to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a Specialist Resilience Housing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing specialist homelessness casework to homeless applicants with complex needs, including survivors of domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to homeless applicants and key partners, ensuring a proactive and person-centred approach to case management.
  • Provide specialist homelessness casework to survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring that all aspects of casework are carried out in accordance with legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives set out at the national, regional, and local level.
  • Ensure the survivors' safety through appropriate and timely interventions into incidents of female genital mutilation, forced marriage, and honour-based violence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve outcomes for domestic abuse survivors with housing needs.
  • Contribute to the dissemination and embedding of safeguarding best practice across the wider Housing Advisory Service.
  • Contribute to the development of the Resilience Team and wider Housing Advisory Service.

Requirements

  • Significant experience of providing specialist homelessness casework to homeless applicants with complex needs, such as survivors of domestic abuse.
  • Significant experience of working collaboratively to improve outcomes for homeless applicants with complex needs, such as survivors of domestic abuse.
  • Ability and experience to consistently deliver high levels of customer service to homeless applicants with complex needs, such as survivors of domestic abuse.
  • Ability and experience of ensuring all aspects of casework is carried out in accordance with legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives set out at the national, regional, and local level.
  • Ability and experience of consistently achieving performance objectives in the provision of specialist homelessness casework.
  • Ability to contribute to the identification, dissemination, and embedding of existing and emerging best practice within the team, and across the wider Housing Advisory Service.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders, including applicants, members, partners, and so on.
  • Significant knowledge of welfare, homelessness, and housing policy, strategies, legislation, and case law, and its implementation within a statutory homelessness service.
