Job Summary

We're looking for a Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes and in the community. As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with our clinical team to develop and enhance your skills in areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages, with a range of complex needs, including spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy, and acquired brain injuries.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care and support to clients in their homes and in the community
  • Work closely with the clinical team to develop and enhance your skills in areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Support clients with their personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support

Requirements

  • Be Social Care Wales registered
  • Have completed an NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
