About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Physical Healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the delivery of physical healthcare services across our Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance on physical healthcare matters
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve physical health outcomes for service users
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality physical healthcare services
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Contribute to the development of Trust-wide policies and procedures
Requirements
  • First-level registered general nurse (RGN) qualification
  • Masters-level education in a healthcare-related subject
  • Experience of working in a senior nursing post
  • Extensive knowledge of service issues and priorities facing learning disability and mental health services in relation to physical health
  • Highly developed leadership skills
