About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Neonatal Nurse Trainee to join our exceptional team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a Trainee Neonatal Qualified Nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, family-centred care to patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge in neonatal nursing
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices
  • Support and mentor junior staff and pre-registration student nurses

Requirements

  • Registered Children's Nurse, Registered Midwife or Registered Adult Nurse
  • Qualification in Neonatal Nursing
  • Evidence of further continued professional development
  • Recent experience at senior staff nurse level within neonatal nursing
  • Evidence of clinical competence in neonatal nursing skills
