Payroll Supervisor Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Supervisor to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Liaise with clients to gather payroll data and ensure timely submission
* Reconcile payroll data with client records and prepare reports
* Review team member's work to ensure quality and accuracy
* Prepare payroll journals and reconcile weekly and monthly PAYE figures
* Administer Pension Auto-enrolment and produce pension scheme returns
* Deal with client and HMRC queries effectively
* Assist with onboarding new clients and share knowledge internally and externally

**Requirements**

* Proven experience in payroll administration
* Ability to calculate tax, NI, pensions, etc. manually
* Good working knowledge of statutory family leave, SSP, salary sacrifice, pensions, etc.
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills

**What We Offer**

* Competitive salary of £40-44,000
* Hybrid working arrangement (2 days per week WFH) once processes are established
