Job Title: 1:1 Behaviour Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Specialist to join our team at a SEN Primary School in Bedford. As a Behaviour Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with severe and complex learning difficulties and health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with class Senior LSA's and Teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Provide 1:1 support to students, promoting skills-based learning and independence.
  • Work closely with the class Teacher to monitor progress and report on student achievements.
  • Support students in understanding their learning goals and targets, enabling them to practice and learn new skills.
  • Ensure students' wellbeing and ability to function and engage in learning.
  • Implement Safeguarding policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
  • Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting is ideal, but not necessary.
  • Initiative, organisational, and prioritisation skills to manage tasks efficiently.
