About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shipping Agent to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our agency team, you will be responsible for catering to the needs of ships from the time they leave their loading port until full discharge at the destination port.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Compiling accurate costs for ship arrivals in port under our agency
  • Liaising with stevedores to ensure efficient loading and discharge of ships
  • Maintaining communication with ship captains
  • Ongoing communication with ship owners and cargo owners to enable forward planning of vessels
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office packages, including Teams and SharePoint
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
