About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speciality Doctor to join our team at Cotswold Surgical Partners. As a Consultant-led and Care Quality Commission regulated provider of NHS and Private Dermatology and Plastic Surgery, we offer a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality skin cancer and dermatology service, including lesion assessment and review clinics, operating sessions, and attendance at virtual MDTs. They will also be expected to assist with annual excision margin/quality assurance audits.

What We Offer
  • A full-time role, condensed to four working days per week (8 sessions)
  • Variable working days between Monday and Saturday inclusive
  • Three days per week dedicated to surgical/operative sessions, with two sessions per day
  • The fourth day per week split to accommodate an assessment/review clinic in the morning and dedicated administration time in the afternoon
  • A three-day working week may be considered for the right candidate, comprising of 2 days of surgical/operative sessions with the third day as a split clinic/administration day
Working Location

This is a multisite contract, with the role primarily based at our main facility at Unit 13 Interface Business Park, Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, SN4 8SY. However, cover may be required during periods of annual leave from our community clinic based at Spa Medical Centre in Melksham.

Requirements
  • MBBS FRCS = Speciality Doctor / Surgeon in Plastic Surgery
  • Applicants must be on the GMC register and hold a current licence to practise
  • Experience in skin cancer surgery and management (excision and reconstruction) and MDTs
  • Advanced clinical training and experience
  • Evidence of interest in skin cancer surgery such as presentations, publications, relevant courses or positions of responsibility
