About the Role

The Trade Surveillance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our trading activities and maintaining a strong compliance culture within Crédit Agricole CIB. As a key member of our Surveillance team, you will be responsible for implementing and performing monitoring and testing of trade alerts across all business lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and perform monitoring and testing of trade alerts across all business lines
  • Provide input for the design of new monitoring strategies
  • Help to enhance monitoring and surveillance controls that extend to conduct and market abuse risks
  • Monitor Trades, Orders, RFQs and Market Data on a daily basis
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new monitoring controls
  • Follow up on alerts requiring calibration, threshold or logic changes
  • Compile breach/ incident and audit trail reports
  • Create and document detailed user guides and desktop procedures

Requirements

  • Expertise in the collection and analysis of input and output data
  • Understanding of key and up-to-date Compliance matters
  • Knowledge of regulatory and conduct issues relevant to the CA CIB and CASA monitoring and surveillance framework
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior managers and front office lines of business
  • Strong analytical skills and a demonstrable track record of drafting reports and supplying relevant evidence
  • Experience in the execution and completion of compliance reports
  • Proactive assessment of the compliance function and its associated risks
