Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Chart Industries. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our customers worldwide, ensuring the successful installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our steam turbines, reciprocating gas compressors, and gearboxes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite technical assistance to customers during overhaul, repair, maintenance, fault finding, and installation and commissioning of steam turbines, reciprocating gas compressors, and gearboxes.
  • Develop and manage exceptional customer relationships through excellence in technical capability and personal interaction.
  • Supervise the activities of Company or Customer supplied Technicians, ensuring their safety requirements, site activities, and discipline are met.
  • Follow health and safety at work procedures and complete required Risk Assessments.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of site maintenance and repair of Steam Turbines and Reciprocating Compressors.
  • Develop and manage good customer relationships through the provision of professional customer management.
  • Demonstrable experience and a strong focus on health and safety.
  • Ability to supervise others at site during complex installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual.
  • Experienced working on international assignments, including where English is not the main language.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and able to produce detailed written technical documents.
