Job Title: Anaesthetist Consultant

Job Summary:

Kings College Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetist Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide anaesthetic services for general, major, and high-risk surgeries
  • Supervise junior medical staff and provide clinical guidance
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of anaesthetic services
  • Participate in departmental research and audit programs
  • Take an active role in the formulation and implementation of the department's business plan
  • Exercise professional leadership and foster a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • FRCA or equivalent qualification
  • Masters degree or equivalent
  • Additional qualifications in specialist areas
  • Full registration with GMC and completed subspecialty training program in anaesthesia
  • Eligible to apply for a Substantive Consultant post
