We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our Anaesthetic services.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, effective, and efficient Anaesthetic service, participating in the anaesthetic consultant on-call rota, and working on both sites of the Trust. They will also be expected to participate in the professional supervision, management, support, and teaching of Anaesthetic trainees.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the provision of a safe, effective, and efficient Anaesthetic service
- Participate in the anaesthetic consultant on-call rota
- Work on both sites of the Trust
- Participate in the professional supervision, management, support, and teaching of Anaesthetic trainees
The ideal candidate will possess a medical degree, be a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, and have full and Specialist registration for Anaesthesia with the General Medical Council. They will also have experience in teaching and training of undergraduates, medical, and allied health professionals.
