We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures.
About the RoleThis is a full-time Consultant Anaesthetist position, working within our busy Anaesthesia Department. You will be responsible for delivering anaesthetic services to patients, including pre-operative assessment, anaesthesia, and post-operative care. You will also be involved in teaching and training junior medical staff, as well as contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop anaesthetic plans
- Deliver anaesthesia and provide post-operative care to patients
- Teach and train junior medical staff
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Completion of a specialist training programme in anaesthesia
- Experience in delivering anaesthetic services to patients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
