We are seeking a General Assistant to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a high standard of service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake general duties as assigned, including maintaining the cleanliness of communal areas, offices, and the kitchen
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
  • Identify and report potential faults and hazards on site, maintaining a safe environment
  • Maintain stock levels, restock as required, and ensure equipment is used in line with guidance notes
  • Assist with meal preparation and drinks, following food hygiene standards, and ensuring customer needs are met
  • Maintain customer privacy and dignity, respecting their individual needs

Requirements

  • Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable
  • Some experience of working in a domestic/catering environment
  • Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering, or willingness to work towards
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace
