Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at The Venues Collection. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our venues, ensuring that our guests and staff have a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain a wide range of areas within the venue, including public spaces, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
  • Dust, sweep, polish, mop, and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
  • Ensure surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitized regularly.
  • Perform additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently.
  • Empty and dispose of bin waste.
  • Ensure all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines when using equipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience in a similar role.
  • Passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
